In the 1990s there was an initiative to renaturalize or rewet the former “Plüschauer See” which was located in the lowland behind the castle in the 18th century. However, the project has not yet been implemented. (www.plueschow.de/kulturlandschaft/download/Schutz-Konzept)

The artistic installation shows a rippled and reflecting wave surface that appears to float like a mirage above the green area between Plüschow Castle and the former lake.
